Orphanage and Education Centre, The Gambia
The Global Educational Trust helped complete the building of an Orphanage and Educational Centre in
The Gambia. The centre will educate 12 children, 6 who will live at the orphanage/centre and 6 from the nearby village. We later helped raise funds to provide solar power to the centre.
Baras Rural Development High School, Philippines
From our Carmarthen shop, we donated books to Baras Rural Development High School in the Philippines, who were very pleased with the new additions to their library and classroom resources.

GET Free Books Carmarthen worked with the Rotary Club of Empangeni to provide books for Gobandlovu School in South Africa for their library redevelopment.
Dogs4Wildlife
Dogs4Wildlife ship books to schools and communities around conservation projects in Africa. We’ve provided books for them to ship to schools around the Imire Rhino & Wildlife Conservancy in Zimbabwe to help them develop schools around the conservancy.
Liberia
Working with the Liberian Ambassador
Working with Ambassador Kennedy we are providing a shipment of books to His Excellency the President of Liberia to help increase the countries literacy rates. We hope this will be the start of a long, rewarding project.
